Don't any Russell Hoobs appliances.

Russell Hobbs Iluminating Kettle has a bottom leak resulting in water being on the base of the kettle. I've tried to contact their customer care for assistance as the kettle has a 2 year warranty. However my efforts resulted in no positive results as I am now being told that I needed to register their product on their website within a year (NEWS to me). I have not read anything nor have I been told of this new information prior by anyone nor does the box (marked 2 year warranty) say anything about registration within a certain time frame. Now suddenly, I must either take the kettle or courier it to them for a repair quote at my own expense even though the kettle is under warranty.

Just when I thought I bought a quality and trusted brand, this what I got...

Useless customer service and terrible product to buy.
