Deterioration in product

I purchased a New Russel Hobbs iron from Checkers in October and the surface has been catching onto all our clothing since the first day of using the iron. I have always used a Russell Hobbs iron since 2003 and never had an issue. Looks like the Russell Hobbs brand is deteriorating in the manufacturing process Their products are not as good as it was. Very unhappy user.
