DEADLY SALTON GAS HEATER!!!
PURCHASED A SALTON GAS HEATER FROM LEROY MERLIN FOR MY 81 YEAR OLD MOTHER. AFTER 8 DAYS OF USE THE UNIT EXPLODED WHILE SWITCHING OFF AND THREW MY MOM ONTO THE GROUND FRACTURING HER SHOULDER. CONTACTED SALTON (HOME OF LIVING BRANDS) THEY ARRANGED TO COLLECT THE HEATER FOR TESTING. RECEIVED A REPLY TODAY WHERE THE REPORT ADVISES THAT THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE UNIT AND THAT NO MEDICAL BILLS NOR CLAIMS WILL BE PAID AND NOT EVEN A REFUND WIL BE MADE.
THEY HAVE COMPLETELY DENIED THE FACT THAT MY MOM WAS INJURED!
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE! THE WAY THAT THEY ARE TREATING AN 81 YEAR OLD WOMAN IS INHUMANE!
