Angry customer Russel hobbs

I bought the satin glass jug blender a little over 2 years ago which i hardly use. On the rare occasions I did use it, it was making this black/metallic power all the time. I stopped using it for a few months, today I was making ****** paste and the blender was making a weird noise. When I lifted the jar I noticed it was leaking only to find the small pieces from the thing connected to the blade broken. Russell Hobbs is not a cheap brand for it yo be such bad quality. I know friends who have bought cheaper brands that have lasted longer and are still working. The reply i got from Kathy Goddard was very dismissive, I will never buy anything Russell Hobbs and I will tell everyone about their horrible after purchase service
