Mislead by TechnoPro

My daughter saw an advert online with TechnoPro 22 September 2020. The item was a telescope Meade 80mm Infinity Altazimuth Refractor. The price indicated on the website was R4160.00 and free shipping. I called TechnoPro, spoke to a gentlemen there and confirmed the free shipping and delivery the Durban is free. My daughter makes payment with her credit card and the amount is accepted. On Wednesday the 23 September 2020, she is informed via email, there is an error with the price and the price is now R5270.00, she was asked to make a further payment or a refund. I am making the public aware with my post be careful of doggy adds like this. This is misleading advertising. the was no curteous gesture from Technopro regarding their own blunder. We have screen shots of the before and after pricing also if requested. Further , my daughter on the 24 September 2020, goes online and makes payment for the same Telescope on BidorBuy, and guess what, the supplier was TechnoPro and they were given the opportunity a day ago to correct the pricing but they still had not done so. This clearly is indicative of a company who does not value its customers. So public please be carefull when dealing with TechnoPro, always check the price 1st , in order not to be mislead. I suggest you get everything in writing prior to making a purchase at TechnoPro, in order not to be frustrated by their poor customer service.
