Warning regarding Justin Coetzee of Techno Air

Justin insisted that payment was required upfront to secure the service. As we had used him previously without a problem, I had no reason not to trust him and paid R1,800 on 30 July 2026 to service four air-conditioning units.

He then repeatedly committed to coming to do the work but failed to arrive. The service was never performed.

After weeks of excuses and broken commitments, I cancelled the arrangement and requested a full refund on 25 August. Justin has still not refunded me and has now stopped acknowledging my messages.

His quotation also contains two different FNB account numbers, which is extremely concerning. I have retained the quotation, proof of payment and our complete communication history, and I am now reporting the matter through the relevant banking, consumer, police and legal channels.

Based on my experience, Justin Coetzee cannot be trusted to honour either the service he has been paid for or his commitment to refund the money. I strongly caution anyone considering using Techno Air to think very carefully before making any upfront payment.

I will update this review if Justin returns the full R1,800.
