Technikon Auto

<p>Took my car in for minor service and cam belt change. Wanted to do this before going on holiday during the Christmas break. This service was supposed to take 1 business but only got the car back 4 days later due to the indicators no longer working as my car is OLD I was told!!! I drove the car for a few kms when the engine light came on and stayed on permanently. Three plastic plugs on the top of the engine were missing. Plastic engine cover below the car fell off whilst driving the car. I decided that there was no way I was taking the car back to Technikon so I booked the car to Action Ford in Krugersdorp. They found the fault to be valve timing that was out. Once the timing was correctly set and the fault cleared the engine light no longer comes on. I when back to Technikon with the invoice for the repairs done by Ford, I was told by the mechanic that worked on my car that there was no way that the timing was out!!. I waited a few days to see if they would make any reimbur*****t but not even a phone call.</p>
