Beautifully handled unique scenario

After putting a product on email alert for restock, I was contacted personally to let me know that the product was discontinued in favour of a newer model. I was able to quickly purchase that product internationally (I live in the US, bought as a gift for a friend in SA), work with the seller to get the product shipped very quickly and as discreetly as possible (it was meant to be a surprise). The product was delivered the very next morning with absolutely no issues, the surprise largely intact, and ended up with a handful of very happy people.
