I need legal advice on the following:

I procured the services of an the services of a company called Repair Tech Appliance Repair (VAT NO ***) operating from 181 Cumberland Road, Kensington with contact number *** to fix a gas stove.

They sent a technician called MS Sithole to assess the the problem. He quoted me an amount of R2842 (INV230522) and requested immediate payment to capitec account ***0. These are the same banking details on the invoice which leads me to believe that this guy is going around ****ming people.

He returned the stove and it was not fixed. I subsequently requested a refund of R2029 on 2 October and I was taken from pillar to post.

The ****mer MS Sithole ***) pretends to be Brian and someone else and refuses to refund the R2092. His brother Lucky***) is also part of the **** and calls himself Brian and pretends to be the assignee for callouts for technical repairs.

They use different email addresses namely:

I got a hold of the registration number of the vehicle that he used Honda MS 04 SD GP with DISC NO ***GG60L. .

As of the 28th of October, I spoke with Brian and Mthokozisi the ****mer and they have yet to refund me and have basically told me to take a hike
