Teamviewer - bad business ethics and zero customer service

Initially I had thought that I needed to pay for the licence, which I did. After 2 years of paying annual fees and never using their service, I asked them to change my user ID from Commercial to Personal use. I am not an IT person nor have I ever used Teamviewer more than once or twice for IT issues. They changed it to Personal use and I could no longer log in under my previous licence login.

HOWEVER, they had issued an invoice for the next year's subscription already and so handed my invoice over to a debt collection agency WITHOUT even bothering to follow up with me as to why I hadn't paid or send any reminders etc. No mails or calls from them AT ALL just the Debt Collector's email telling me I'd better pay up or face litigation... Funny the debt collector had my mail address and could contact me so why not Teamviewer themselves?

Customer service obviously does not exist at their business. You cannot contact Teamviewer by mail, only by submitting a ticket or calling them. I was not in a position to be able to call them at the time and also couldn't submit a ticket as you can only do that if you are a licenced user or logging a TeamViewer Personal Use Verification form... I will NEVER be using their service again and will make sure to tell everyone I know to steer clear of Teamviewer.

TIP: try using Remote Utilities, up 10 connections is free of charge.
