Teamviewer a bad business practitioner.
With Teamviewer, I always got an invoice 40days before the license expiry; then in, November 2018, I was moved over to a subscription account with a special price of E80 per year. Unfortunately, I forgot to read the fine print that read: the price would go up to E130 from November 2020. But in any case, they should have been providing an invoice 40 days before expiration, as is the law in South Africa. Providing the invoice 40 days before the expiry date would have given me the chance to cancel the TeamViewer subscription; they did not do this, only providing the invoice on the day of the transaction. To me, that is ******** in South Africa; and also poor business practice. If I had just used my credit card, then I would have been able to reverse this transaction, being backed up by South African law.
I am probably not going to use Paypal anymore, and I have now canceled my subscription with Teamviewer. Of course, there is no credit to be provided by them. The reason for no credit is because I have already have purchased the right to use Teamviewer until November 2021(no refunds allowed). I will be the one to suffer while the major IT corporation like, Teamviewer, carry on driving and living in luxury.
I am a 71 year old that is just s****ping by and do not need this to happen to me. They could not care as long as they get their money.
So anyone thinking of getting Teamviewer be aware that this company is not there to serve, they are there to get every thing they can financially from the public. And they will walk over dead bodies to get what they want.
If Teamviewer reads this, then they should read the rest of the reviews posted on www.hellopeter.com . I am sure it is not good for their business. So what ever they have taken from me, is being taken from them in spades.
Well, that is my story.
