Teachme2 informed me that they were cancelling my son's online lessons as they had not received a payment of R600.00. I paid the R600.00 and re- tried to get my son's lessons back up and running. When the tutor informed me that there were still no lessons loaded for him, I paid again and wrote an email detailing my two payments and asking for one amount of R600 to be refunded. I also advised Teachme2 that I no longer required their services. I did receive a refund of one of my payments, however the refund was followed by a bill from their lawyers for R600.00! As my refund indicates, I was not in the wrong and it seems grossly unfair to be paying their lawyer's fees, when the mistake was clearly not on my side. I received a threatening letter from their lawyers stating that if I do not pay, they will take me to court. Since I work full time for my hard earned cash and do not have leave days to fight over R600 in court, I am effectively being bul**** into paying the bill. So the outcome is I ended up paying double anyway! Consumers be aware!
