A Valuable and Rewarding TEFL Experience I decided to become TEFL certified because I was ready for a career change and have always had a genuine love for teaching. A friend introduced me to TeacherRecord, and I found the platform straightforward and easy to use. One moment that really stayed with me was realising just how impactful imagery around words, like the root tree highlights just how extensive the coursework is. It showed me how much thoughtful planning and preparation goes into effective teaching, while also making me appreciate the support and opportunities that TEFL and Teacher Record can offer to people beginning a new teaching journey. For first-language English speakers, I would not describe the course as difficult, provided you remain focused and pay close attention to the coursework—the answers are all there. Although it is a 120-hour course, I found that with consistent effort and hard work, it can be completed in well under 120 hours. Take breaks during the super long stretch between modules 8 and 12. Now that I am certified, I cannot wait to get started and put what I have learned into practice. I would recommend TeacherRecord to anyone considering TEFL certification. You can find the platform at teacherrecord.com.

"Just got my TEFL certification! 🎉 I decided to get certified because I wanted to open up more opportunities to teach English abroad and gain new skills. One thing that really stuck with me from the course was learning how to adapt lessons for large classes with limited resources — it completely changed how I think about lesson planning. I found TeacherRecord (teacherrecord.com) through a search when I was comparing TEFL certification options, and it worked well for me. I won't lie, it took real commitment to get through the material and complete the assessments, but it was worth it. Now that I'm certified, I'm excited to start applying for teaching positions and put what I learned into practice. If you're thinking about getting TEFL certified, I'd say go for it — just be ready to put in the time!"
