TAYLORMADE FIRE SERVICE UNDELIVERED YET PAID A SIGNIFICANT DEPOSIT

The chairman & trustees of a Sectional Titles complex in Rosebank entered into an agreement with Taylormade Fire Services in 2018 to install a sprinkler system in the ba*****t in compliance with the law. We have yet to receive any service at all. Instead,m what we have experienced since signing the agreement and paying a deposit of 65% of said quote is being stonewalled by the CEO , correspondence totally ignored, and promises to honour their agreement remain unfulfilled to date. Current status is that emails seem to be blocked. What I find absurd is that this company demands a 100% deposit before commencing work. Our policy as should any diligent Body 's be, Corporate, is usually to pay a 50 % deposit and the balance is paid on completion of work. In this particular instance we have paid 65% of the work contracted and have after several months not had the service for which we paid. It is to me important to place this in the social environment given that other people may be negotiating to have work done with this company, or like us are waiting for service delivery. They brazenly boast on their letterhead of being winners of silver awards for "business of the year in two different years" We are now forced to consult with attorneys incurring expenses that we should NEVER have had to consider when entering into an agreement with a reputable (so we thought) company.

I feel it my absolute duty to make this known wherever possible and will do so if only to assist others who may be duped as we have been.
