I am an active client with Taxify but after the experience I had I WOULD NEVER recommend anyone else to use it. I requested a ride going back home. I had a lot of luggage's with me and I was travelling with my sister and nephew. I accidentally left my mobile phone in Themba's car (the driver). I tried ringing my phone as I could not get the driver's numbers. It kept on ringing with no answer, it was then switched off and on again. but no one was answering. I then reported the matter through the app. I was assisted by an agent called 'KAGISO', he managed to get me the driver's number and I rang the driver who firstly said that he I did not leave anything behind but sounded a bit shaky when I asked, the second time I rang he said he will check and he sounded very irritated that I called as he was rude towards me and on third time I tried him, he stated that there was nothing left and it may have been taken by other commuters and there is nothing that he can do. These incidents seems to be a norm as a friend of mine was advised that they will bring the phone but nothing till date and her incident occurred last year November. Taxify advised her that she needs to sort it out with the driver!!!!

It is not reliable or trustworthy, it is shady simply because you leave something behind accidentally, you should just forget as they probably keeping it for themselves . I use the app almost every day. I commute by it all the time but from now on I will not. I am appalled by how this has been dealt with.
