Taxify theives

Good morning

I'm super not happy with the driver who assisted us Saturday 29 June 2019. Driver picked us up and we had a TV, so I entered the car out my phone on his car seat at the back and was holding the TV . Left my phone in the car and when my boyfriend came out to pay driver switched off my brand new cell phone. Called him 10seconds after my boyfriend paid and told him I left my phone at the back off his car. Driver claimed his quickly dropping off customers at Maponya mall. Then he will come later he claims the people he picked up after us took it. It's sad cause he firstly said he picked up women and later said its 3 drunk men. We opened a case with police and want to know how do I get my phone back cause clearly Taxify is employing *******, thirdly after collecting us did the driver really get a request to drop off customers at Maponya mall. Please I need feedback about this.
