Taxify reckless driver

Short of the long:

I was going to my work's year end function at the Waterfront. The driver got in an accident (reversed into a motorbike behind us because he was not paying attention) on the way to drop me at a friend's house (she was giving me a lift to town). Because of this I was late for the lift, and had to take the Taxify all the way to the Waterfront, more than doubling the fee. This was communicated to the driver. Emailed Taxify and after three emails back and forth, there is no answer. Every email is answered by a different agent, who is not reading the previous email properly, and the company has no interest in refunding me for the amount that I was forced to pay because their driver was reckless.

Taxify is extremely frustrating to work with, and unprofessional. Friends who used their services on the same night had various issues, including overcharging and poor driving.
