Taxify / bolt overcharging.

I requested a ride for my sister from Sandton city to where she’s working and that’s 2km distance and she was supposed to pay R23 but I was surprised to see that they charged her money for 9km which was R86. The driver started the trip before picking up my sister.

This happened again when I requested a ride for my sister and mum. Picked up at Sandton to the same place which was 2km from Sandton city but the driver charged them R40 but the driver finished the trip in parkmore long after he has dropped them.

Why are they like this? Why are they charging extra money from Sandton city? Why are these drivers doubling the ride fee? Why are they starting the trip before picking up the rider? This is really frustrating.
