Starts trip without passanger

Worst trip ever.

I requested a taxify from Wynberg to Three Anchor Bay - Cape Town.

To my surprise I got a notification for the following driver:

Moegamat Armien Nissan Almera 2017 CA835382

First of all the driver drove past me.

When I phoned him I couldn't even get through to his cell. I send 2 messages to explain to him what just happened.

Minutes later he acceptes the trip without me being in the cab physically (For 5 minutes he sat in his parked car with my accepted trip. Which means I'm paying for him to sit in a parked car whereby my Taxify is linked to my credit card and I need to pay.)

Eventually he decides to turn around and drive back the same way he came.

After getting into the cab I asked him why he has started the trip without my consent with attitude and disgust in his voice he tells me "I didnt see you, so what."

Without any apology the ride continues. I request the driver to drive certain rodes such as strand street in town he blatantly ignores me asif he is paying for the trip.

So my question is: "Is it fine for cab drivers just to start a trip without the client being physically in the car and since when does drivers just ignore passangers request?

This is totally unacceptable from just a mere cab driver!
