Mistreatment
My name is Hlaisani Bright Baloyi. I am writing to you today as a last resort. I use the Taxify app to get to and from work on weekdays and it is my only source of transportation. Earlier this year I had an incident on a trip where I happened to leave my house key in the drivers car and realized almost immediately so I called him and ask him to return it as I could still see him driving away and was upset when the driver refused to return it unless I paid him R 150.00. I reported this matter to Taxify, only to find out that the dishonest driver had reported an entirely false claim that I had actually ****** his phone and money which resulted in my account being blocked. I appealed this matter on Taxify’s social media pages and provided them with proof that I had sent the driver money and that the driver had ******ed money from me after which they rightfully unblocked my account and apologized. I was surprised this morning when my account was blocked again for the same matter and was even more shocked when I took to social media to report this matter to them and they refused to unblock my account regardless of the evidence I provided and/or my clear innocence in the matter. They now refuse to respond to my messages and have left my account blocked. I do not believe that this is an appropriate way to treat customers and I am now left stranded with no alternative transport to get to work tomorrow, they don’t seem to care at all.
