I am appalled by the pathetic service I've received from Taxify. It started when I requested a cab from Cape Town and the driver started our trip then went to the garage. At the garage he took a smoke break and also peed, all while our time was running. This resulted in a R170 trip being R235. I complained was given a R150 promo code as a gesture for the inconvenience. This evening when I wanted to use the code, it didn't work. I used 2 different cards and they both said invalid payment method. I honestly cannot understand how they can provide a promotion that I can't use no matter what payment method I choose. I'm beyond getting promotions and just want a cash refund for the difference of my original trip, because I am completely done with Taxify and their putrid service!
