On Saturday 11 November I requested a ride from Houghton. The driver was close by according to the taxify GPS, in Norwood. He came close by, a few streets away, but did not pick me up. Instead, I received a message saying 'driver has arrived'. The trip then started without me. I tried to call the driver numerous times during and after the ********** trip but without an answer. He ended the trip somewhere in Randburg, charging me R160. Again I tried to call but no answer. This tells me he knew what he was doing and it wasn't just a mistake. I believe taxify does not respond to complaints, which tells me the drivers probably know that they can get away with committing *****. Unbelievable. Theft. Will never use taxify again.
