BOYCOTT TAXIFY! They hire *********

Taxify hires ********* and has no system in place to hold the drivers accountable! On one occasion a driver refused to follow the route on the map and drove deep into hillbrow after I asked to specifically stick to the route. When hit bumper-to-bumper traffic i started to panic and the driver told me to get the hell out. He ended the trip and forced me out of the car in the dead of night, in Hillbrow and told me to walk. Taxify just gave me a free code.

More recently, a driver named Meluleki driving a Nissan Almera with the plates FY23MNGP collected us from a bar in Braamfontein. We asked him to wait while got some food at a restaurant and once inside I noticed that my phone had fallen out of my pocket. When i went outside to look in the car the driver was gone and still running the trip. When we called him he said 'don't worry taxify will send you a code.' Taxify keeps telling me to call him myself and there's nothing they can do. The driver denies having found the phone and says that he had to go and collect someone else that's why he left.

These drivers commit crimes because taxify will not hold them accountable and the cars are not theirs! We need to stop using this service and ban the system completely. Other people have gone through worse and even lost their lives. It's not fair!
