Bosses attitudes

The entire incident began when i was selling my ipad online. I found a buyer who requested a taxify to fetch the ipad from me and return it to him. The buyer turned out to be a *****. The taxify driver still has my apple ipad and refuses to return it to me unless i pay him R800, take note i was not part of the taxify request and i have never even signed up for taxify therefore the driver has no right to hold my item hostage, but should rather consult with the person who originally requested the taxify. Due to this happening i managed to pay the driver R300 to allow me to fetch it. Once i paid it the driver states he cannot as his boss wants the full R800 (althought i didnt not reuqest the taxify). The boss also states he does not want to talk to me. R300 of my money is gone and i still havent got my ipad. Taxify has ****** my ipad as well as R300.
