Tavcor George did not tell me my car does not carry blue tooth

I bought a 2016 VW 2016 Polo 1.4 Tdi Trendline from Tavcor George on 11 April 2019, trading in a 2016 Golf 1.6 Tdi DSG.

The car is beautiful and only had 29000km on the clock. The steering wheel has a phone sign on it so I ASSUMED the car has blue tooth when I bought it. Since I am a rep, this is exactly what I was looking for; the car also has cruise control - another very important 'have to have' needed by someone doing the long roads. No one at Tavcor George ever told me the car did not have blue tooth at that point.

After purchasing my car, I realised my car don't have bluetooth. I informed the Mastercars Principle, Paul, at the dealership. He was initially also surprised by the fact that the car is not equipped with bluetooth. Paul did the delivery - he DID NOT explain to me the car did not have blue tooth.

He then told me that they will fit the blue tooth asking me if I would pay half the cost (R2601.67). I agreed (although I thought it made sense to tell someone the car has no blue tooth when selling the car - as it has a phone icon on the steering wheel) and booked a date for installation. The date was scheduled for 23 May. I turned up at 7:30 and Jaco at Services said he know what needs to be done (since he was briefed by Paul) and off I went with a loan vehicle to do my work for the day. At 16:50 Jaco phoned me and said my vehicle is not ready as they need me to indicate where the bluetooth system needs to be installed in the car. Again, I did not mind as I was still at work and said I would pop in the next morning to do what needs to be done. Then another BIG SURPRISE: the blue tooth was not supported by the radio, so they had to install a screen on the dashboard and a speaker with wires on the steering wheel. My first thought was: "this is horrible and devalues my car". I immediately asked Jaco to ask the technician to stop installing and give me my car the way I gave it to them.

My husband and I previously bought the same 2016 models and both are equipped with blue tooth. It did not even cross my mind that the car does not have blue tooth; especially with the phone icon on the steering wheel.

I still do not have blue tooth and is not happy at all!
