2013 Polo brakes issue

My 2013 Polo hatch with 23000km on clock has brakes issue took into Tavcor George and was told disc brakes must be replaced which is unacceptable that means I will have to replace disk brakes every 18 months its madness!!!I have had many vehicles and never had to replace brake discs every 18 months and saw online there are MANY other customers with the same issue but they refuse to accept that its a common factory fault and claim its normal wear.
