Pool repair service - lies and no follow-up

We discovered Keith Otto by gumtree, took a chance and used him. He thumbsucked our problem, by suggesting a pump replacement, took our old pump (without a trace). Sure, we paid. Problem persisted. Had him come back (benefit of the doubt), he then said it was the sand filter, replaced that at a large cost. Problem persists. Attempting to contact him, yields no result (he promises, but does not arrive). Got another (proper, professional) company to quote and fix now. They found the pump he sold us was bogus, the sandfilter has glued parts everywhere. His workmanship is also completely bogus, piping with excessive leaks, wrong glues, using putty to seal high pressure pipes, bad angles of pipe-flow, pipes pulling out of the ground. If this complaint serves as nothing but a warning to his clients, then it helps already. He got more than R5k from us, and we have no resolve, and a stained pool liner. Be careful, question him, double check his standards. <br> Today I told him to cancel coming to my place, as I got someone to repair his work at additional cost. His response was \Ok
