FAULTY POOL - 10 YEAR GUARENTEE NON-EXISTANT

We had a pool built by Keith Otto of Taurus Pools in Dec'13 (CA246028) 28 ER SYFRETS STREET, YSTERPLAAT. What a nightmare. Builders not turning up...always delays because he didn't want to pay them etc..eventually we had to get our own pavers etc to do the coping. His quote clearly stated 10 years guarantee on workmanship and material. Seems as though he only gave one blue coat,when his quote clearly stated a base coat then a top coat in fiberglass finish. The pool pump and filter never worked properly...seems like it was second hand. a year later, the paint started peeling off likewise the stick on mosaic. every time I try to contact him he said he'll make a turn to have a look. To date we have had to drain the entire pool only to discover that the concrete at the bottom of the pool was full of holes. Yesterday, I sent him pictures of the holes etc...he openly admitted that it was HIS builders who were at fault...and that he would come have a look some time. Only to send me another message that it would cost me R10 000 to fix which I must pay for and he'll do the labor free because he doesn't have money. He's since blocked my number!
