Overheated steam iron

I bought a Taurus steam iron from Takealot in November 2024. When it stopped working, I contacted Takealot because it was still under warranty. I was advised to contact Taurus directly. The iron was collected and repaired, but it only worked for about two weeks after being returned. It then overheated, causing the outer plastic casing to burn and melt. I am very disappointed with the quality of the product and the repair service, as the issue was not properly resolved and the iron has become unusable again.
