TASHAS MELROSE ARCH TINY PORTIONS HIGH PRICES

On Saturday I took my girlfriend out for our anniversary to Tashas at Melrose arch hoping we could share an exquisite meal together. We ordered the linefish(Kingklip) which costed R185, For that price I was sure we were going to get a meal that would be filling and we could both share and enjoy together. When the food arrived the plate had a piece of fish literally 5 cm wide and 6cm long which is tiny! The rest of the plate was filled with chips to try and disguise the small R185 fish. Ocean basket delivers a huge piece of kinglip for half that price. The managers excuse was that he had no control over the situation and that head office knew about the \small portion"issue. I am Highly frustrated and I will not rest until restaurants like Tashas can match there food with there price tags. I orderd fish! not a plate of chips!!!"""
