Nasty surprise! VAT not included in menu prices

Tashas Sandton Square is great, awesome vibe, awesome food, okay service but I was really shocked to receive the bill and realise then that VAT is excluded from the prices on the menu. This is a mean trick! I'm pretty sure the prices included VAT previously.

It's general industry practice, to include the VAT.

And if Tashas chooses not to follow the norm then it must be stated more boldly and clearly on the menu that VAT is excluded. Patrons must be made aware. Otherwise it's a real nasty surprise after a nice meal.
