<p>Hi people and fellow IT distributors.</p> <p> </p> <p>My challenge this week was to get an assistance with a simple RFQ from Tarsus and to my surprise they refused to quote and give prices because they wanted to know who my customer is or my end user is. Since when do they ask me who questions like that who have they become?</p> <p> </p> <p>1. Are they shareholders in my company? The answer is no</p> <p>2. Do I dictate the operations of their business like they do to mine? The answer is no</p> <p>3. Do they employ me? The answer is no</p> <p>4. Have they ever given me or shared their customers with me? The answer is no</p> <p>5. Are they business bullies/intimidators with no sense of ethics? The answer is yes</p> <p>6. Are they starting to become supplier competitors or sabotages? The answer is yes</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>If we don’t stand against such unfair business ethics companies like Tarsus will try to eradicate us the small upcoming IT EME’s of South Africa. So why should we made to feel inferior by this companies I mean even when you go and buy a ****** at a chemist the pharmacist doesn’t ask you if you going to have *** or not or who is your girlfriend.</p> <p> </p> <p>Let’s be fair when it comes to business because money is very hard to come-by these days one should be careful not fear to ask for a simple RFQ without thoughts of being disadvantaged by distributors who try to swallow every piece of the market share with their greedy tactics .</p> <p> </p> <p>I mean we can’t held ransom by distributors who already have well established businesses but feel the need overpower or bully upcoming SME’s in South Africa.</p>
