Atrocious service

I requested a quote for a notebook with additional memoryand duly received an email from Dipho Cardoso with the quote on Tuesday stating that Tarsus had stock. I then rep**** on that email and stated that I accept the quote and would like to order. By Thursday I had recieved no confirmation so I phoned through my order. Luckily, before driving all the way to Tarsus, I phoned the next Tuesday only to be told that there were no stock on the additional memory and it would arrive sometime Thursday. I phoned Thursday morning and was told that all was fine I can collect. I collected the goods (after waiting the customary 40 minutes) and I returned back to my office only to find that the wrong memory had been issued. It then took me 8 phone calls to get to someone who accepted responsibility, only to be told that there were no stock and I must try Axiz, their opposition, for the memory. I have seen other major distributors in this industry begin their slide into ruin exactly the same way. Goodbye Tarsus after 20 years.

Good Day,

We apologise profusely for the experience and inconvenience you had with us. Dimpho Cardoso is fairly new to our sales team and we acknowledge that she did call you to apologise for the misinformation of the stock you were looking for, hence one of our sales managers called you to also apologise and offer you a credit note on the incorrect stock you had already collected. Even though you had opted to check with our competitors as you had a customer that was urgently waiting for the order, we still value the business you have with us and do hope that we can still be of service to you and you may once again forgive us for this.

Kind Regards
