Unprofessional !

Avoid like the plague ! If I could give them zero stars I would . I arranged with them to have my personal belongs shipped from Abu Dhabi to Durban, South Africa in July 2024 . My belongings only arrive July 2025 , and with two suitcases missing. I have since been trying to follow up but with no help from them , to the point where I was asked if I had not taken the suitcases as carry-on luggage and forgotten! How is it possible that I was quoted on a certain number of items and even paid customs in South Africa, for them to not even know how many items were mine. In the beginning they are very quick to respond to emails etc but once you pay , then you don't hear from them unless you message them first. From what I can tell , all emails and WhatsApp messages are handled by the same unprofessional person and there seems to be no other contact information or person you can speak with or escalate matters too. And if you do ask to speak to someone else , your emails are never returned and WhatsApp messages are read and ignored. I was never even given tracking number or documentation for my shipment, or a receipt for the customs payment . You think supporting South African businesses , you would be in good hands, but sad to say Tarmark is just out to make a quick buck . I am probably not going to see my missing belongings again but I'm hoping I can spare someone else the stress and misery by putting this review out there.
