tepid Targus, to be replaced by everlasting Everki

For a long time, I have been very happy with the Drifter laptop bag that I bought for the Targus supplier in Midrand. I always knew that the life-long guarantee was my back-up, not that I ever thought of using it, although I did register my purcahse on the website (just in case). But, a while ago the fabric starting coming apart at the small pouch in the upper area of the bag. When I contacted Targus Midrand, I had to listen to a long s**** about why an exchange was not possible. Repeated mails to Targus did not help either. All this after I had advised our HR department to buy Targus laptop bags for all the office staff (seven and counting), because of the warranty and the quality.

What realy riles me is that a friend of mine had his bag changed: NOT because of faulty material, but because his dog had chewed on it. They did not ask for long explanations nor paperwork, but merely took his chewed bag and gave him a new one. Watch how we exchange our Targus bags for Everki...
