Bathroom Renovations Gone Wrong
Unfortunately we can not recommend Target Maintenance for bathroom renovations. The quality of workmanship was not to an acceptable standard. Defects included uneven, chipped, and hollow wall tiles; tile spacers left embedded in the walls; inadequate waterproofing of the showers; incorrect installation of the bathtub and toilet; and walls that were not properly finished. While these defects were apparent even to a layperson, they have since been confirmed by independent professionals. It was also alleged that a registered plumber would be involved; however, no proof of registration was provided upon formal request. In addition, we were not furnished with itemised billing for the work completed. We expected a contractor who would plan appropriately, provide reliable cost estimates and timelines, and deliver quality workmanship. Unfortunately, these expectations were not met.
