i bought my Franchise for Tammy Taylor Centurion Mall in November 2019 for 345 000, signed my contract in February 2020 after i waited to be contacted for 2months about my contract. within those few days i paid 28k for location which i was ok with however due to delays to get finance i couldn't sign the lease agreement, as it didn't make sense to stay with lease obligations without finance to open the business. we were hit by lockdown, which halted most of businesses and i was also affected financially. also the banks couldnt finance my franschise and i made a decision not to continue with the Franchise. in August 2020 i sent an email to Tammy Taylor notifying them of my challenge and i would like to cancel my franchise and be refunded my fees. none of my emails were attended to after countless emails i had to sent and when i called no one wanted to take responsibility to help, the kept shifting responsibilities to a different person each time. also my attempts to get help when i visited the head office were fruitless. i took the matter to my lawyers, they still couldn't get any joy as tammy Taylor kept changing the legal teams. a year later i still don't have my money or feedback from tammy Taylor regarding my refund. I'm hurt and disappointed as i don't have any money now to take care of m children or invest in other business to make a living for myself and family. i don't understand why t should be difficult to gave my money back as there are tammy Taylor branches opening in Gauteng almost every month and even Tammy Taylor centurion mall that i was sold i open by another franchisee.
