On 2 separate occasions I took different cars for a service at (Bosch) Talladega Auto Clinic, Silver Lakes.

For the one car they quoted over R34,000 because of some hidden problems (like the shocks, suspension and a few other things) . For the second car they also quoted an excessive amount of more than R12,000 also due to to some invisible problems (they said the gearbox mount was damaged and all break pads and discs needed to be replaced). I asked them just to do the scheduled service and only the necessary repairs.

After going to Talladega, I went to a reputable workshop where they checked both cars and dismissed the alleged damages that Talladega said they had found : the suspension on the one car is still fine, the gearbox mount and discs on the other car are all fine.

I would avoid Talladega Auto Clinic in future and want to warn other people to do the same. At least get a second opinion before trusting Talladega.
