Wrongful Charges

I hired and chainsaw, on the day i spoke to owner and mechanic to make sure that item is working properly, as i needed to take it a far way and will only be able to bring it back a week or so later, I brought this to their attention to which they promised me the item is working perfectly, once i reached my farm i could not get the saw to cut, it came on, but could not cut, i phoned the shop and told the owner that its not working, he asked me to bring it in and i reminded him its not possible as i have to travel far as i told him in the shop, i told him when i will be able to return the saw and he said,ok. on return of the saw they handed me a bill for the days we had it, i explained that its not working. the mechanic took a look and told me it was indeed not serviced and that the carburator was faulty i then said i will not pay the bill as i never used the machine, they assured me that the owner will set it right, to date no one has done that or phoned me other to here when i will be settling account. with interest added. this is the most appalling service i have ever received, we rent a lot of equipment from Talisman, but since this moved our account..
