I am honestly gobsmacked
<p>Thank you – thank you ssoooo much for being caring human beings – in a very cruel and selfish world. My mom and I tackled a project to use old tyres and make the kids seats. Easy peasy right! So after spending 3 hours cutting the tyre with a jigsaw we just couldn’t get through the final bit. Im on the phone phoning around for help and can assure you that I had a few big name brands around but they had no interest in helping – they just said they wouldn’t know what to do. SSSOOOOO no problem im going to hire a bolt cutter and sort it out, Talisman (Sandown rd) is just around the corner. But to find out if they have one and the particulars I give them a shout and spoke to Eric about this bolt cutter, he had no idea what was coming his way! So I chuck the tyre in the car and off I go … arriving at the shop it was like 10 minutes before closing time and your staff busy cleaning up welcome me with open arms. I did however learn there are two Eric’s working there and both are just super uber friendly! Now for a girl to walk into a man’s world and be treated with so much respect and kindness was just awesome. But wait the good stuff is still coming – so I explain to the lovely gents my problem and they jump on it – dragged the tyre to the back and tackled it with a grinder and tjoef tjaff the tyre is through! Great so off I walk with them to pay and they refuse – off you go mam we glad we could help. Well my jaw dropped on the floor, its not often that someone will roll a rock out the road for you without a reward and I was just so taken a back with their kindness.</p> <p>My mom and I could finish our chairs that night and I must say they are darn cute. We never admitted someone helped cutting the tyre – that is our little secret ok?</p> <p>But we cannot wait to tackle another project to actually come and hire something it was just great dealing with you guys!</p> <p>So thank you thank you soooo much for being real, for being kind, and being awesome – I hope it comes back tenfold to you guys!</p>
