Warning do not ever use Talbot transport to "rent" a truck for anything. To cut a long story short, I rented a truck from them and paid in total just over R87 000 for deposit and a weeks rental for the truck upfront. After using the truck for 1 day it was "withdrawn" (pulled of site) because the actual truck owner whom they rented the truck from had not been paid as yet. Owner of the company Brian Talbot & general manager Mark Stewart came with legal terms in which the truck was withdrawn bottomline was the dispute process was supposed to take no long that 15 days and then be resolved and I would receive money back which was due to me, R55000 deposit and then rental for the truck for the week. It's been over 20 working days and I have received no response from either of them, my emails are simply ignored & Been blocked off WhatsApp been by 2 points of contact. This company and owners involved are ********, you will not receive you money back! They will do the same to you, so this is a warning. The address on there website is not where their office is based, their " office" is in the Northgate area and website shows krugersdorp. I have now started a legal process with them and this company, so this is a warning to anyone considering using this company,DO NOT!!!
