Disappeared with deposit
<p>As a concerned resident of Paarl, I want to bring the following to the attention of people living in Paarl and surrounding areas.</p> <p>On 9 May 2016 Deon Roman came to my house for a quotation to redo and extend our back vibracrete wall. His quote was significantly lower than the two other quotes I obtained.</p> <p>On 21 June 2016 I contacted Deon Roman to ask him if the quote was still valid, which it was. I accepted the quote and paid a 50% deposit on 21 June 2016. We agreed that he would start with the wall on 4 August 2016. The day came and went and after many promises he just never showed up. I asked him to repay my deposit, but he just ignored me. It is now 6 months later and I am still waiting in vain for the repayment.</p> <p>Please be aware of this man as he disappeared with our deposit and probably never even intended to do the job.
