DO NOT BUY!!!selling duds to customers then repairing until warranty expires

This is ongoing since March (3rd time broken) • Purchase 20/11/2014 • Broken and repaired 08/04/2015 (5 months after purchase) • Broken and repaired again 05/05/2016 (12 months after 1st “fix”) • Broken again 03/03/2017 (10 months after 2nd “fix”)

As far as I am concerned I was sold a broken(manufacturing fault) dud or previously repaired iron, which speaks to the ethic of the company’s customer service standards by not originally just replacing it with a new iron, as my sisters both got theirs with me and theirs are all working perfectly fine, 2 years and 9 months later. My iron has never fallen, been borrowed out or even been outside of the box, when not in use

according to the CPA a supplier must give the customer a choice to replace defective goods, which was never communicated t me at any point, they took it upon themselves to repair without giving me the choice to replace which i obviously would have taken

they hide behind a warranty period that was 2 years, then 12 months now it's apparently 6 months as they are well aware of the fact that they sell defective goods that only last the 6 months, they cut corners and are ********* to the core

i have never been so disappointed in a product or customer service in my life
