Take N Pay - Amanzimtoti - False Advertising Week 20-25 September 2022

Take N Pay Amanzimtoti advertised fresh green beans for R9.99 p/kg for the week of 20 - 25 September 2022. Being fond of fresh veggies I decided to get a kg. When I get to pay for the till I asked the cashier to check the price of the green beans. R14.99 she answered. Now, the reason I asked her for the price is because of a previous similar encounter only that time Take N Pay advertised green beans for R9.99 p/kg and actually charged me R24.99 p/kg. I question the price and people with blank faces stand and stare at me as if I am joking. I told the gentlemen that I want the advertised price and he disappeared for a while and upon his return he said the price was for Friday only. I paid for the green beans and when I got home I checked their leaflet again and to my surprise found that there is no mention of the special on green beans valid for Friday 23 September only. I cut and pasted the advertised special from the leaflet with the dates and saved it on my laptop as proof of this false advertising.
