THEFT!! R500 ****** by staff from Hotel Room!!

Checked into hotel, 1 hour later, went for supper, left my bag behind as I didn't need it. Realized my bag is in a safe room that is locked. The cleaner had come in there to clean the room, which was not necessary as we had just checked in. She had scratched through my bag, and ****** R500 out of my wallet. This was 2 weeks ago, and each time, I have to follow up, not feedback provided. They keep stalling and stating they need to do polygraph but the woman hadn't pitched for work the week after. To me, that is guilt already! The hotel has done nothing to compensate me for money ****** from my bag from THEIR STAFF! your belongings are not safe in that hotel! I am extremely disappointed and disgusted at the service. Apparently other customers have experienced theft there too. Lipstick going missing etc. my R500 was never given back to me. Very very disgusted! Bad poor service especially from a Well-Known "reputable" hotel like Taj!
