Bad Workmanship and Failure to Honour Guarantee

These folks came to my house and quoted me R6000 for repairs to my thatch roof and brushing which I accepted because they offered a 2 year warranty (although they quoted me higher than other suppliers). My alarm bells should have started ringing when they arrived without a ladder and had to use mine in order to do climb onto my roof to do their work.<br> <br> It was hardly 2 hours after they had completed the job and left my home when it rained and rain came through the thatch over the outdoor patio area despite this being an area that did not need repairs and only had to be brushed. I sent them a message requesting them to come and fix their mess. My messages were met with silence..my phone calls when unanswered and despite subsequently confirming that they would come to fix the issues with my roof they just didn't bother showing up. The reality is that there is no warranty and this is a fly by night operation with a fancy website (I doubt the pictures on their sites are actually pictures of their work). It would also appear that their business premises do not exist.<br> <br> I am still waiting for them to return my calls and make good on their warranty.
