Flight ok but terrible website and customer care

I booked my flight through an agent, Flightcentre, because I couldn't get the booking section of the TAAG website to work. A few weeks before my flight I tried to login on the TAAG website to make sure all my flight details were there and I couldn't log in. I used the chat function to make contact and I got no help at all. The person didn't seem to understand me and I made no progress. I called Flightcentre and thankfully they were able to sort it out on their side. Apparently my name and surname had been registered in the wrong fields on the TAAG side. The flights were ok. There is enough space, the planes are of a reasonable standard (there is an entertainment system) and the service is fine. The food is edible but fairly tasteless. The layover in Luanda was not very comfortable - limited offerings and the general areas and toilets are dirty. My most annoying experience with TAAG was when I tried to claim for my damaged suitcase after my return flight. I only noticed the damage after I had returned home so I didn'treport the damage at the airport. My experiences with TAAG customer services was poor before my flights so I reported the damaged suitcase to my agent, Flightcentre, who made contact with TAAG on my behalf. They got no response and advised me to contact TAAG directly. When I did eventually get a response from TAAG customer services I was told I didn't meet the 7 day cut off (even though Flightcentre had made contact with TAAG within 7 days). It's like trying to hit a moving target. No one tells you what the process is so you have no hope of meeting their requirements.
