Private Bus Driver and Owner

On 9 July 2015, I was on my way to work on London Road. I came to a stop at the red robot.<br> A white Isuzu bus pulled up on the left-hand side next to me with license plate YBS735-GP. As soon as the robot turned green the Bus driver cuts me off and damaged my car's left side mirror.<br> The driver stayed in the bus while I asked him for his driver's license to take his details, to which he rep**** he did not have a license. The driver hid when I attempted to take pictures. He then began to drive off. I gave chase and I took the detail off the side of the bus which was T Mpiti ***. I called the number and T Mpiti advised me that he is the owner but he didn't know who was driving and did not have insurance after I explained the circumstances. The case was logged at the Police Station and the police officer advised that I should contact my insurance to claim for the damages. This would mean that my premiums would increase for an accident that was not my fault. I may not get justice for the money spent to repair my side mirror but I hope this stays on the site and someday comes back to bite T Mpiti and his bus company.
