BE CAREFUL OF THIS COMPANY

I called out T & F appliance repairs specifically to fix the problem I was having being shocked by the dishwasher. Before and on arrival I confirmed with them that this was something they could repair. They assured me it was and proceeded to inspect the dishwasher. They informed me that it needed to be earthed and proceeded with the job. They completed the job and invoiced me R750 for the repair to the machine which supposedly had solved the problem and would no longer be causing shocks. I paid and happily assumed the problem was fixed. The very next day I got another shock!! I immediately informed them of this and they said they would come back, which they did and proceeded to add more earthing insulation in the machine explaining that that would definitely fix the problem. Well you can guess... once again the next day I was shocked again. I immediately contacted them and they reluctantly set up an appointment for the following week. The day and time of the appointment came and went. They ignored my whatsapp message and text messages. I eventually put a message on their facebook ad asking them to respond. The response came to the effect that the fault is not with the machine and is not within their scope of work to fix as it must be on the wall plug. So what did I just pay for???? I requested a refund so that I could get another appliance person to come in and fix the shocking and was told that they have done the work so no refund. I contacted another service provider and within 5 minutes of arriving using the proper equipment told me the problem was not with the machine but with the wall plug earth. It was fixed and repaired within half an hour. The charge was a fraction of what they charged. I approached them once again with this information and they have to date ignored my messages and will not own up to their error and unprofessional workmanship. I absolutely would not recommend them.
