Horrible Construction Experience

<p>We started the construction experience on a very pleasant and positive note. We gave Shafiek Hendricks, owner of SYY Trading Solutions, all the details, explained the premises would be utilised for business. We provided Shafiek with a rough drawing of what we wanted. He assured us he would follow all the processes and assist us through our new journey. Due to his experience, as per information provided by him and because we had a personal relationship, we understood we were in experienced and capable hands. BUT soon realised it was one HUGE mistake. The problems began: lack of communication, no material, nagging of payments before time, below standard roof tiles, no plans being drawn up, workers not being paid, lies, blaming us and the list continues. My sister and I, owners of the property, had enough, especially when we realised he was only milking us for money and due to the lack delivery that was promised. We then asked for the plans, work to be stopped, a refund (on all or at least part of the money) as we could no longer to struggle unnecessary. This then resulted in him patronising us and blaming us ONCE AGAIN. He has '******' R110 000.00 of OUR HARD EARNED money. Now we are experiencing endless STORIES from him regarding plans, receiving all or at least some of the money back. We have requested other accredited Construction Providers for quotations and realised there are actually more problems with the workmanship of the existing structure. When we brought this to Shafiek's attention, he claimed that he cannot be judged on an incomplete job and that the other accredited service providers we not being truthful. He now either does not take our calls or reply to messages. But when he does he keeps giving excuses of money.</p>
